HUGO PETERSEN takes responsibility
Focus on Sustainability
HUGO PETERSEN is committed to managing and developing its business in accordance with the highest international standards of environmental, social and economic sustainability. There is an awareness that this is achieved not only by providing technology that satisfies customers, but also that the plants must also be operating in a socially responsible way without endangering the environment.
For more than 60 years, HUGO PETERSEN has been dedicated to emission control through exhaust gas cleaning and always keeps its technologies at the highest level of performance!
One of the company’s goals is to measure its actions and their impact on the basis of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which were propagated by the United Nations in 2015 and to use this as an analytical tool for determining improvement measures as well as driving innovation.
Individual and tailor-made concepts for sustainability
Today, the annual high-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development serves as the central UN platform for the follow-up and review of the SDGs.

- Minimising waste of all kinds
- Minimising short-term environmental impact and long-term pollution prevention and reduction of CO2 emissions
- Maximising the value of the product
- Maximising the return on investment for the client
- Maximising the life cycle of the plant
for an increase in sustainability and profitability for our customers.
